A friend of mine bet me that I couldn't guess the following...

What composer wrote a piano concerto, no.02 to be exact, based on a bell like ring for the opening measure? It starts out in f minor. The composer was considered Romantic...

I have searched this, to no avail... I am not a classical music listener, but I am trying to broaden my horizons (not to mention surprise him with the answer) if anyone knows this - I would appreciate it SOOOOO much!!

I believe the composer you are looking for is Russian born, Sergie Rachmaninoff. The only known composer/pianist to record all of his own concertos.
